Very fine carved 19th century Louis XV mantelpiece from Paris.
Beautiful decorative piece, nice proportioned with serpentine breakfront shelf above a fielded freeze centred by a superb central cartouche echoed that is slightly yellowed sturdy scrolled endblocks which sit above angled, panelled jambs with twisted central masterpieces supported by sturdy footblocks.
