Happy to present this almost square amazingly detailed and warm colored French Régence fireplace from the late 18th century.
Its clear to see this mantel had a hard life, is has multiple big old restorations and some damages. The right leg might also be from a later time.
It’s still a beautifully decorated and decorative Sandstone Régence Fireplace Mantel with a lot of potential but it does require some imagination.

Mantel can be restored on request.
