Strong 18th century fireplace mantel in Gris d’Ardenne marble.
This monumental antique French fireplace is beautifully decorated with profiled paneling combined with a draped laurel leaves and berries garland from left to right.
Especially nice is the way the garland passes behind the inner profile, exceptional carving and craftsmanship.
It has retained its original patina, some minor restorations but is overall in good condition.
